A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Engineer to join our project delivery team within FCA programme. This role places you at the heart of engineering activities, managing, and delivering key elements of projects that support our wider programme objectives. What you’ll be doing
As an Engineer, you’ll take responsibility for specifying, managing, and overseeing engineering activities that are essential to project success. You’ll champion quality, safety, and compliance while working closely with specialists, regulators, and stakeholders to keep projects moving in the right direction.
- Control, develop, and monitor plans and procedures to ensure robust and efficient project delivery.
- Apply health, safety, environmental, and waste‑management processes to engineering activities, drawing on specialist advice where required.
- Liaise effectively with regulators and stakeholders, ensuring plans, procedures, and technical solutions remain fully aligned with standards, legislation, and project schedules.
What you’ll bring
You’ll bring the technical capability, practical experience, and structured thinking needed to deliver engineering activities confidently and effectively. Your blend of knowledge and problem‑solving skill will help ensure safe, compliant, and high‑quality outcomes.
- An HND in Engineering (or equivalent) supported by relevant experience in an engineering environment.
- Relevant apprenticeship and/or facility or plant experience would be advantageous
- Proven hands‑on engineering experience with the ability to design, evaluate, and govern technical solutions.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills, enabling you to guide engineering activities and maintain high professional standards.
