The role will be focussed on projects associated with the Enabling scope of work. This scope includes the remediation of areas of radiologically and chemically contaminated land, and the installation of new groundwater monitoring boreholes and instrumentation around legacy waste facilities. The role will require a working knowledge of the delivery of ground engineering projects within the applicable regulatory frameworks on a Nuclear Licensed site.

Operational Facilities Projects (ref. 327)

This will include managing modifications to existing operational facilities including the rerouting of services, decommissioning activities, and the construction of facilities and infrastructure in advance of the construction of the new Shaft and Silo waste retrieval buildings.

The role will require knowledge and experience of managing projects within the envelope of existing operational facility nuclear safety cases.
