What you will be doing:

You will take a hands on lead in delivering a wide range of construction and civils activities, ensuring every task is carried out safely, efficiently, and to an exceptional standard. Acting as a central point of coordination on site, you’ll guide teams, support contractors, oversee temporary and excavation works, and maintain the highest levels of compliance, documentation, and operational readiness.
  
You will also act as a Temporary Works Supervisor, supporting the planning and control of temporary works. Due to the dynamic nature of the workload, occasional overtime may be required to meet operational and project demands.

Key Deliverables:
  • Lead and coordinate daily civils activities, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring safe, high quality, and timely delivery
  • Prepare and manage work packs, inspections, records, and reports while upholding all site rules, permits, and safety requirements
  • Oversee excavation and temporary works, supporting planning, readiness reviews, and fostering a highly motivated, accountable team environment

We’re looking for someone with proven supervisory experience in construction or civil engineering, who can communicate clearly, stay organised under pressure, and adapt to the demands of a busy and varied workload. You’ll be ready to take responsibility, support others, and contribute to a disciplined, high performing team. If you're eager to develop your skills further, particularly in areas such as temporary works, this role will give you the support and exposure to grow.

What You’ll Bring:

  • SSSTS qualification, CSCS Supervisor Card, and proven supervisory experience in construction or civil engineering, with a strong understanding of New Roads and Street Works (NRSWA) requirements
  • Ability to produce clear work packs and technical documentation, combined with strong communication, coordination, and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
  • Post specific capability analysis assessment
